CRAFT SUPPLIES NEEDED: WE ACCEPT DONATIONS!

Yarn, Fabric, Fleece Needed!

Do you know someone with  a large amount of yarn or fabric they no longer want or need? 

If so, please suggest they donate it to the Ela Crafters. It can be dropped off in the bin at the Township (lower level) so the volunteers can turn it into warm gifts to be distributed throughout our community. 

We accept:

• Yarn: Especially worsted weight acrylic. Sport weight cotton to make wash cloths
• Cotton fabric
• Fleece

ALL COLORS - ALL QUANTITIES

• Gift Cards  

 

How Much Yarn Do You Need for Various Items?

 

HAT SIZES GUIDELINES FROM PREEMIE TO ADULT

Hand made hats are always in great demand.   And we love to knit and crochet them. One of the challenges is getting the measurements right.

There are 3 key measurements as you see from the picture above.  As we donate hats for warmth, we need to ensure that the hat is tall/long enough to comfortably cover the ears. 

The chart below gives you the general measurements for all sizes.

Please keep in mind that we do not collect preemie or newborn hats.
